I have been a PSW for 14+ years in North Bay, working in home care and hospital settings. Over the years, I’ve noticed that there wasn’t much available for foot care in the area, especially those that would go to the client, so I decided to do something to help meet that need. I graduated the Essential Podortho® Foot Care Program for PSW’s, with the intention of building a business offering services in the client’s home. I am a member in good standing of the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association (OPSWA), the Health and Support Care Provider’s Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) and the Ontario Foot Care Association (OFCA). I love learning new skills and I will be adding new services as I continue my education.
